FRP STONE "Showcased At Radford University"

FRP Stone - Simulated Limestone from Fiberglass Reinforced Polymers

FRP STONE HAS THE LOOK AND FEEL OF REAL LIMESTONE

First Class-Stone™ is First Class Building Products’ aggregate finish cement product castoff to simulate architectural stone. It is a precast finished material appropriate for decorative architectural applications where the look and feel of stone is vital, but offers the cost savings of a molded product.

First Class-Stone™ is an exclusive material that simulates cut stone such as limestone. With a fabricated weight of 3 to 5 pounds per square foot, it is very lightweight for a stone product. This is the result of the glass reinforcement that also gives it a very high impact and tensile strength. The material is integrally colored throughout in a variety of natural stone colors. We also can custom match your stone color to match any natural stone material. Glass fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) products have been utilized in the North American construction market for thirty-five years.

While they provided many advantages over previous construction materials like natural stone and glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC), these heavy products provided many installation challenges such as tight tolerances, field finishing and expensive cranes and other lifting limitations due to weight. First Class-Stone™ is a product designed to meet today’s challenges such as budget limitations and tight delivery schedules. The cast-in stone finish can match existing stone or be custom cast to your specifications. The results speak for themselves with a finish that can be cast into shapes that would be cost prohibitive in natural stone. The Architect can get the dramatic cut stone look they require at the cost of a fabricated facade.
