Corbels and Brackets

In architecture a corbel is a structural piece of stone, wood or in modern construction comprised of polyurethane or other reinforced polymers or cement. Lucky First Class Building Products, Inc. works with several different building materials. We also have the capability to take your design tooled out for custom builds.

A corbel and relieve are types of brackets. It projects from a wall, usually to carry weight and depending on design can actually strengthen an angle.

Architectural Brackets

Building brackets are an architectural component that can be both structural and/or decorative only. Many brackets are made of wood or stone yet today Fiberglass Reinforced Polymers (FRP) and other types of reinforced materials are widely used and respected. Ex. GRG, GFRC & HDP

FRP (also goes by the name “Simulated Limestone”. ) is much lighter in weight than stone, more durable and long lasting in comparison to wood as it will never rot and is impervious to insects. It is supplied primed ready to paint on site. Additionally, we offer special orders for color missing prior to delivery. Please speak to sales representative for more information.
